		<description>I used to set the color to a light grey to reduce the radiation getting to my eyes. for my eyes it makes a big difference compared to having white backgrounds shining all over the screen.
Just to add an extra advantage :-)</description>

		<description>Occasionally X makes a decent suggestion and this was one of them. But I found the benefit of this was also the thing that made me put a &#039;default&#039; of white back in my browser - loads of sites started to look wrong and become hard to use.

Great tip, so long as you are not easily irritated! :o)</description>
